Siren's Song, NaNo 2008, Chapters Six and Seven

Senga went back to her car, alone. She needed to get out of there. Trying to party and be happy with her friends just wasn’t in the cards tonight. She’d done the rounds, congratulated her friends, and hitched up her skirts and beat a path out of there. Couldn’t stand watching them celebrate.
Her powers were nothing to laugh at. They’d manifested a little early, but no Sirens were needed. The Fates had let that slide. As a Siren, she could control men with the power of her voice. The Siren language was a force to be reckoned with, and no mortal man could resist it. She’d made that mistake with Andy, figuring it would put an end to the abuse she’d suffered at his hands. But it hadn’t.
She got into the car, laying her head on the wheel, and sobbed. She had no one now. Her friends were gone, and replaced with the gods of old. She put the key in the ignition and put the car into reverse. She needed to get back to the apartment and sleep. Ohhh, glorious sleep.
As soon as she reached the building, she knew something was wrong. The door handle to the tenement was broken. And when she went inside, the other tenants stared at her, wide-eyed and scared. Senga climbed the stairs to her floor, and rounded the corner to her room. The door had been flung wide open, and her possessions strew like garbage throughout the hallway.

“What the hell?” Her eyes opened as wide as her neighbors’, and she slunk into her room slowly. If there was someone still in there, she wanted to be able to get out.
Andy was sitting on the edge of her bed, his legs crossed, and his hands folded in his lap.
“Hello, Senga.” He said, in a familiar tone of voice. That tone of voice meant she was in so much trouble. Senga, in turn, backed up so fast, she almost snapped her spine against the wall.
“Get out of my apartment. Now.” She said quietly, deadly serious.
“Now, honey, don’t you think you should come greet your lover properly?” He said. Now he was starting to smile. That set her shaking with fear. Pure, unadulterated fear.
“Get out.” She repeated.
Finally, he stood up, and took a single step towards her.
“I SAID GET OUT!” She shouted, throwing her hands up in front of her face.
Andy smirked and closed the space between them, grabbing her arms roughly, and pulling them down against her sides, and holding them fast. Senga kept her eyes closed tightly.
“Don’t you remember? You’re mine. My sweet, compliant Senga.” He whispered, his breath hot in her ear. Her body shivered involuntarily, her brain said fear, her body said pleasure. The shiver made him smirk even more.
“See? You miss me.” He spun her around, her face hitting the wall hard. She cried out, feeling the blood start to pour from her nose like a broken faucet. Now he had her hands held fast with rope. “You just need to be reminded of what you were missing, my love.” He said, placing small, hot kisses down her neck. Senga stayed absolutely still, like a deer caught in the headlights of a truck. A roaring started in her ears as his free hand began to pull up on the skirts of her robes, and underneath them. When his hand reached the top of her thigh, she began her struggle, trying to shake him off. That only seemed to excite him further.
“Mmmm, I like it when you’re rough, love.” He said, slipping his hand between her thighs. “And you like it too.” He smirked and forced her legs apart. Senga started screaming, as loud as she could. If she could muster the will to speak, he’d be sorry. When he was inside her, it took all her strength to make herself numb, to not cry out. She bit down on her lip as hard as she could, drawing blood.
He let out a long groan when he was finished, and Senga slid to the floor, her face tear stained and bloody. He pulled her back to her feet by the ropes binding her hands. She let out a small cry, as the ropes burned at her wrists.
“Now, wasn’t that good, lovey? Let’s go clean you up, so we can go home.” He said, kissing her forehead softly, and dragging her towards the bathroom.

Andy threw her into the shower, clothes and all, and turned it on hot. Senga sat there, just letting the water run over her, sobbing quietly. She couldn’t stand up to wash herself, as dirty as she felt. But Andy let her alone for now.
She heard familiar footsteps and familiar voices coming up the stairs to the room. Hades and Poseidon. “Sengaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Why didn’t you stay for the party?” Hades whined, rounding the corner and going into the room. Then he fell silent. Poseidon cleared his throat.
“Where is she?” he said, his voice quiet and dangerous.
“Oh, she’s just washing up. We will be leaving soon, going to be heading back home.” She heard Andy’s voice through the door, just as quiet and dangerous.
“She won’t be going anywhere with you!” Hades shouted. Senga could hear him taking a step towards the couch. Other footsteps entered the room. Andy’s thugs. She heard Hades snort, and crashing noises.
“Ooooh, that was neat.” He said, sounding pleasantly surprised.
Poseidon snorted as well, and his footsteps got closer and closer to the bathroom.
“She’s mine!” Andy shouted, and Senga heard a scuffling noise outside the bathroom door. Hades started shouting, and it sounded like he had joined the fight. The door burst open, and Poseidon leapt over Andy to pull Senga from the shower and into his arms. All she could do was cry and cry, and hold on with all the strength she had left.
“Come on, kid. Let’s get you to a hospital.” He whispered, carrying her from the room and down the stairs to the car. Hades was having fun, tossing the thugs and Andy around. He apparently had quite a bit of strength now. His brother just rolled his eyes, and continued down to the car. “Bro, let’s go. Senga needs to be looked at.” Hades put down the thug he was roughing up, sighing.
Senga had a feeling she’d done this before. Being loaded into a car, her body in pain, her head reeling. At least she wasn’t screaming this time.
She felt so far away as the brothers walked her into the emergency room. She thought she heard something about finding her at a toga party on the local college campus, and that she might have been raped. She nearly threw up when they loaded her onto a stretcher and whisked her off to be taken care of. Then it all went black.
“SHE’S AWAKE!” She heard Hades’ voice say, more excited than a five year old getting all the cake he could eat. When she finally opened her eyes, his tired, but smiling face was right there, their noses almost touching.
“Oh my God, Had…Henry.” She jumped a little. And it hurt. “How long have I been out?” she asked, barely whispering.
“A few hours. You lost a lot of blood.” Poseidon said, from the corner of her room. “Little Bro took the police to your apartment, and Andy and his men were gone.”
“If I’d been able to play with them some more, they would have still been there.” Hades said, grumbling and sitting down on Senga’s bed. “But they said they’d come by soon to question you about the attack. They have DNA evidence and EVERYTHING! Like CSI!”
His eagerness made Senga giggle, just a little. “Ow…” She said, wincing.
“Oh, yeah, the doctor said your nose might be broken.”
“UGH, not again! This nose is paid for!” She said, pulling the blankets up.
Hades laughed and pet her hair. “It doesn’t look bad, just bruised and swollen. He said it should get better in a couple days.” Senga just sighed and tried to roll over. Even though she’d just woken up, she was tired.
Poseidon finally spoke up from his corner. “We’ll keep him away from you. Paper restraining orders don’t mean much to him, apparently.” He said softly.
“I KNOW!” Hades said, grinning brightly. “You can come to Vegas with me when they release you!” He clapped his hands, and bounced on the bed happily, like a five year old. “We’ll have so much fun, and we’ll find you another boy to make you happy and and and…Hey!” His tirade was muffled by his brother clamping a hand over his mouth and dragging him off the bed.
“She’s gonna need a lot of time to recover, dude. And you want to whisk her off to Las Freaking Vegas? You don’t think do you?” Poseidon said, grumbling and wrestling with Hades.
Senga rolled her eyes. “Come on, boys. Poseiden, I can take care of myself, and with your brother with me, I’ll be just fine.” She said, quietly.
“So it’s settled! When she feels well enough, she’s gonna come to Vegas with me, and we’ll take the town by storm! Luck be a lady tonight! Luck be a lady tonight! Luck if you’ve been a lady to begin with! Luck be a lady tonight” Hades grinned, and burst into the Frank Sinatra song, dancing around the room. A nurse came in and told him to quiet down, and he made a face, but sat down, and stuck his tongue out at the door. “So, when will you be ready?”
After several days of questioning and talks with lawyers, Senga was ready to get out of Dodge. Hades had packed all her stuff and sent it ahead to his apartment in Vegas, even before she had come home from the hospital. He was just THAT excited. When Poseidon brought her back from their trips to the hospital and the police station, Hades was going through the last of her things, packing them in suitcases for the plane ride.
“Bro, really. She might not even be ready to go yet.” Poseidon said, rolling his eyes. Hades just waved his hand and ignored the comment. “So, bags are packed, the police have your contact info, ready to rock and roll?” He said, turning to a pleasantly stunned Senga.
“I’m ready.” She whispered.
